BOKAJAN, Aug 4: The Borjan Jutang Havar Amai (Borjan Zonal Karbi Cultural Society) has begun preparations for the 33rd edition of the Zonal Karbi Youth Festival.
A meeting to discuss arrangements and scheduling of the event was held at the auditorium hall of the Bokajan Municipal Board.

During the meeting, a Reception Committee was formed with Jivan Chandra Pathak as president, Borsing Bey as vice-president, and Sardili Bey as secretary.
Member of Autonomous Council and Executive Member of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Surya Rongphar, has been named Chief Patron, while retired professor Nobin Terang will serve as Patron.
The meeting was attended by Borjan Zonal KCS president Janasing Teron, secretary Janasing Tokbi, Bokajan Municipal Board chairman Sardili Bey, and other members.
