GUWAHATI, Feb 2: The campus of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati came alive on February 1 as the Myntra Glamfest Tour arrived in the Northeast in collaboration with Alcheringa, drawing an impressive footfall of nearly 13,000 students and music enthusiasts.
Organised by Myntra, the high-energy campus event turned the institute into a vibrant hub of fashion, music and youth culture.
Students actively engaged in a series of fashion-led activities, interactive showcases and on-ground experiences spread across the venue, reflecting strong participation throughout the day.
The Myntra Experience Zone emerged as a major attraction, offering interactive installations, styling moments and playful engagements that encouraged self-expression and exploration.
Student-led performances added a distinct campus flavour, while reward-based activities seamlessly connected on-ground participation with Myntra’s digital ecosystem.
The highlight of the evening was a power-packed live performance by acclaimed singer Shaan, whose headlining act sent the campus into a frenzy.
As he performed a string of iconic and crowd-favourite songs, thousands joined in a massive sing-along, turning the concert into a memorable celebration of music and youth spirit.
Commenting on the initiative, Abhishek Gour, Senior Director – Brand, Myntra, said the brand is increasingly focusing on experience-led and community-driven engagement with young audiences.
“With the Myntra Glamfest Tour at Alcheringa, IIT Guwahati, we connected with Gen Z in a way that felt authentic to the campus environment, making fashion discovery more intuitive, social and deeply resonant,” he said.
Following successful editions in Kolkata and Guwahati, the Myntra Glamfest Tour is set to travel to more college campuses across the country, strengthening the brand’s connection with Gen Z through immersive, culture-driven experiences rooted in creativity and participation.
