GUWAHATI, Feb 10: A five-day Workshop-cum-Capacity Building Programme on “e-Content Development for Teachers and Teacher Educators of North Eastern States” commenced on Tuesday at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Guwahati. Organised by CIET-NCERT, New Delhi, in collaboration with KKHSOU, the programme aims to enhance digital teaching competencies and create high-quality e-learning resources.
The inaugural session featured addresses by Dr Pranab Saikia, Prof Rajendar Pal, Dr Nirada Devi and online Chief Guest Prof Amarendra P Behera, emphasising digital pedagogy, cyber security and quality e-content for diverse North Eastern classrooms. Dr Nripendra Narayan Sarma urged participants to contribute meaningfully to school education.
Forty-nine educators from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya and Nagaland are participating. The workshop includes 20 sessions on e-content scripting, storyboarding, audio-video production, editing and mobile-based content creation for dissemination via DIKSHA and PM e-Vidya Channels.
