BTC Executive Council expanded with 3 new Executive Members

Oath ceremony held at BTCLA auditorium in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, March 6: The BTC Executive Council was expanded with the swearing-in of three MCLAs as Executive Members (EMs) at a ceremony held on Friday at the auditorium of the BTCLA, Bodofa Nwgwr, Kokrajhar.

The newly inducted EMs are Maheswar Basumatary representing the Goreswar (ST) constituency, Lakhi Das representing the Nagrijuli (Non-ST) constituency and Karmeswar Roy, a government-nominated member. With their induction, the strength of the BTC Executive Council has increased to 17 members.

The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Mukesh C Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam and Principal Secretary, BTC.

EMs Derhasat Basumatary and Moon Moon Brahma, MCLA Jubiraj Basumatary, Additional Principal Secretary Pranjit Kr Wary, secretaries and other officials of BTC were present on the occasion.
