KOKRAJHAR, Oct 1: A total of 591 teachers of 1999 (reinstated teachers) have received appointment letters in a programme held at Mushalpur HS School complex in Baksa district on Saturday.
Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member, Pramod Boro and Assam Cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma ceremonially distributed the order of regularisation of services of 1999 (reinstated teachers) of lower primary (LP) & upper primary (UP) schools under Bodoland Territorial Region, who hails from undivided Nalbari and Kamrup districts.
Notably, till date the BTR Government have so far distributed 893 including 302 orders of regularisation of services of 1999 reinstated teachers of LP & UP schools under Bodoland region besides appointing nearly 2000 persons as Government employees against the vacancies at various categories under Education department of Bodoland Territorial Region districts.
BTR CEM Boro said, “The BTR Government has been stepping in to extend quality education among the children in the region and accordingly appointment letters have been distributed to the teachers.”
