Dularai Gudi Bathou Afad Conference Concludes

KOKRAJHAR, March 12: The 9th annual conference of Dularai Gudi Bathou Afad (DGBA) concluded on Sunday with a three day colourful programme held at Maidangshri Fwthar,Banargaon in Kokrajhar.

The annual conference of the Laimwn Afad, Mainao Afad and Bathou Oja Afad and 32nd annual conference of Kokrajhar district committee of Dularai Gudi Bathou Afad and 34th annual conference of Elaishreejhar Biyab Dularai Gudi Bathou Afad was also held.

Assam cabinet minister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma graced the occasion as chief guest at the opening session of the conference.

Brahma said that the Gudi Bathou religion is the aboriginal religion of the Bodos.

He said that the Bathou religion is the identity of the Bodos.

Chief executive member of Bodo Kochary Welfare Autonomous Council (BKWAC), Mihiniswar Basumatary, BTR executive member Ukil Mushahary among others were present on the occasion.
