Multiple Disabilities Awareness Programme In Nagaon

NAGAON, March 16: Baraliya Welfare Society, a leading voluntary social organisation of the district in collaboration with National Institute for Empowerment of Person with multiple Disabilities, Chennai, organised a day long ‘awareness generation training programme on management of children with multiple disability’ under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment at Nagaon district library auditorium on Thursday here.

The programme was inaugurated by Deepali Devi, retired Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department, retired deputy director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangstha was also present.

Over 150 Anganvadi workers, Aasha workers and members from several Self Help Groups participated in the programme.
