The Sardar 150 Unity March is intended not only to celebrate the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first Home Minister, but also to foster a strong sense of national integration and social responsibility among participants.
The month-long initiative will combine marches, awareness drives, community engagements, workshops, and interactive programmes across urban and rural areas, aiming to unite citizens from different communities, backgrounds, and age groups.
The organisers said this would reinforce Patel Ji’s vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, while inspiring youth to actively contribute to community development, sustainable practices, and the promotion of Indian heritage and values.
Joram Tat, State Secretary BJP Arunachal Pradesh, emphasised that the initiative also seeks to strengthen civic participation, encourage leadership among the youth, and foster collaboration between government departments, educational institutions, and civil society organizations.
The State Liaison Officer NSS Arunachal Pradesh noted that volunteers and student groups would play a vital role in mobilizing local communities and ensuring that the objectives of the Unity March are effectively communicated at the grassroots level.
Officials stressed that environmental protection, social awareness, and promotion of indigenous skills and products would remain the core focus areas throughout the march.
Citizens and youth are encouraged to actively participate in all activities, including tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and local entrepreneurship initiatives, ensuring that the Sardar 150 Unity March leaves a lasting impact on society.
The initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to celebrating India’s national heroes while simultaneously fostering a spirit of unity, patriotism, and self-reliance among the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
