Speaking to the media outside the BJP state headquarters at Vivek Vihar here, state vice-president Dunggoli Libang described the result as a historic mandate and a strong endorsement of the BJP’s leadership, policies and development-oriented governance.

He said the victory reflected the growing trust of the people in the party’s commitment to transparent administration, efficient urban governance and people-centric development.

Party workers marked the occasion by bursting crackers and distributing sweets, symbolising joy and gratitude for the overwhelming public support.

Libang said the mandate, particularly in the BMC, highlighted public confidence in the BJP’s ability to strengthen grassroots democracy and deliver results at the municipal level.
