Centred on the theme “Give Blood, Save Life”, the drive saw participation from around 40 volunteers, including personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), students from the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), and MWSAP members.

According to an official statement, the initiative aimed to honour the sacrifices of the patriots by mobilising volunteers for a life-saving cause.

It also sought to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and the role of community involvement in strengthening healthcare support.

A representative of Rama Krishna Hospital expressed gratitude to the donors and underlined the critical need for blood, especially in medical emergencies.

MWSAP Advisor Laiprakpam Robindro Singh thanked all the volunteers, particularly the NDRF personnel, NERIST students, and MWSAP members, for their contributions.

He said the drive was both a tribute to the region’s patriots and a step towards improving access to blood resources across Arunachal Pradesh.

The statement said the drive was a success, with the collected units expected to help patients in need throughout the state.
