DC chairs DLMC-cum-DDR review meeting in Tawang

TAWANG, Sept 13: A meeting of the District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) along with a review of the District Development Report (DDR) was held at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Tawang recently.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ms. Namgyal Angmo, IAS, an official statement said.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner instructed all administrative officers to conduct regular site inspections and submit reports accordingly.

She also directed that officers serving as school adopters must visit the schools at least once a month and share their observations.

Angmo reviewed the status and progress of various programs and projects across the district and took a detailed look at the revenue generation efforts of different departments.

She urged all departments to work in close coordination to ensure effective implementation of government schemes and programs at the grassroots level.

Assistant Commissioner-cum-District Planning Officer (DPO) Sangey Wangmu Mosobi highlighted the importance of using a structured reporting format in the DDR to assess the district’s overall performance.

She emphasised the need to monitor the saturation level under different schemes and directed that revenue collection data be reported in a timely manner for effective review.

The meeting was attended by SP Dr D W Thongon, ADC Lungla Tashi Dondup, ADC Jang H Kri, DPO S Wangmu Mosobi, and all heads of offices from Tawang, Lungla, and Jang subdivisions.
