DC Jiwani chairs DLMC-cum-DDR review meeting in Pasighat

PASIGHAT, Sept 19: The monthly review meeting of the District Level Monitoring Committee-cum-District Development Report (DLMC-cum-DDR) was held on Friday at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Pasighat, chaired by East Siang Deputy Commissioner Sonalika Jiwani.

The DC reviewed the progress of ongoing state and central schemes across departments and urged officials to work cohesively as a team to ensure delivery of last-mile services.

She stressed that reaching the unreached and covering all target beneficiaries was the responsibility of every officer, adding that proactive efforts were necessary to meet public expectations in every sector of development.

Reviewing the status of departmental initiatives, Jiwani directed all Heads of Departments (HoDs) to submit reports in a timely manner.

She specifically asked the Education Department to initiate the process of opening bank accounts for students and instructed the District Land Revenue & Settlement Officer (DLRSO) to clear pending cases of government land acquisition while formulating measures against illegal land encroachment.

The DC further advised officials to come prepared with accurate data and reports for the next meeting.

The review was attended by ADC (Hq) Pebika Lego, SDO Sanjay Taram, DPO Tatak Mibang, and other HoDs and departmental officers.
