ITANAGAR, Oct 9: Tanya Taji, retired General Manager of the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO), joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at a function held at the party’s state headquarters on Wednesday morning.
State BJP President Kaling Moyung formally welcomed Taji into the party fold and expressed confidence that his vast experience in the power sector would contribute to strengthening the organisation. “I welcome Tanya Taji to the BJP and urge him to use his long experience as a technocrat for the party’s growth at the grassroots level,” Moyung said.
