Itanagar: Nocte community felicitates APPSC achievers

ITANAGAR, Sept 14: The Nocte Chalo Loku Committee (NCLC) of Itanagar organised a felicitation ceremony on September 13 to honor three distinguished candidates from Tirap District who successfully cleared the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCCE) 2024.

The event, held at the DK Convention Hall, celebrated the academic excellence and perseverance of some of the community’s brightest talents.

The felicitation ceremony witnessed a large turnout, including members of the Nocte Women Group, students from Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) and various colleges in the Capital Region, as well as senior community leaders and stakeholders.

The gathering came together to applaud the accomplishments of Phamhoi Wangchu, Jamwang Lowang, and Ejoy Ketok, whose success in the highly competitive examination has brought pride to the community.

The program was graced by Ranphoa Ngowa, IFS, Secretary of Tourism, who attended as a special invitee.

In his address, he encouraged the students and aspiring candidates to aim high and pursue excellence with determination and hard work.

“Success is not an accident but the outcome of discipline, persistence, and resilience,” he said, urging the youth to dream big and prepare with focus.

Adding cultural vibrancy to the event, the ceremony began with a traditional Nocte welcome song performed by the Itanagar Nocte Women Group.

The performance was widely appreciated by the audience and set a celebratory tone for the day-long event.

During the course of the program, the achievers shared their experiences and offered motivational advice to fellow students and community members.

Phamhoi Wangchu elaborated on her study techniques and time management methods that helped her excel in the examination.

Jamwang Lowang stressed the significance of defining clear goals and maintaining discipline throughout the preparation phase.

Ejoy Ketok, meanwhile, shared insights on how he overcame personal and academic challenges on his journey toward success.

Wangton Lowang, the organising chairman of the event, praised the committee’s initiative, stating that such efforts “highlight the community’s unwavering commitment to education and the pursuit of excellence.”

He emphasised the importance of creating an environment that nurtures young talents and encourages them to strive for higher achievements.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Manje Tangjang, who expressed gratitude to the organisers, invitees, and participants for making the event a resounding success. The felicitation not only acknowledged the achievements of the successful candidates but also served as a source of inspiration for students and aspiring candidates across the region, reinforcing the value of education, hard work, and perseverance.
