NAMSAI, Aug 21: Mahabodhi Lord Buddha College, a premier institution of higher education in Arunachal Pradesh, has steadily built a reputation for academic excellence and value-based education since its establishment in 2013.
Located in Adi Ningroo Village of Namsai District, the institution was founded by the Mahabodhi Maitri Mandala Arunachal Branch of the Mahabodhi Society, India, with a vision to provide holistic education that balances intellectual growth with moral and spiritual values.
According to an official statement, the college began its first academic session in 2013-14 and has since grown into a centre of higher learning committed to shaping students into self-confident, employable and responsible citizens capable of contributing effectively in a competitive global environment.

Its strong academic orientation has consistently borne results, with students securing top positions at Rajiv Gandhi University year after year.
The statement noted that in 2025, several students of the college figured prominently in the university’s list of toppers, further underlining its record of performance.
Among them were Michel Pegu of the Commerce stream who secured the 3rd rank, Awnglu Singpho of Hindi who secured the 4th rank, and Nang Rebika Namchoom of English who achieved the 10th rank.
