25 students injured in Vijay rally at Dalgaon

DALGAON, April 20: At least 25 students were injured in an accident that occurred during a Vijay rally, which was organised at Dalgaon to celebrate their good performance in the HSLC examination, the results of which were declared on Saturday.

According to sources, the students of the Sialmari Jatiya Vidyalaya of Dalgaon took out a Vijay rally soon after the results were declared. About 50 students were on board the vehicle bearing the registration number ‘AS 25 CC 5117’, which suddenly turned turtle.

25 students were injure, among who three students sustained serious injuries. All of them were rushed to the Kharupetia BPHC, which referred them to the Mangaldai Civil Hospital for better treatment. The teachers of the school also reportedly took part in the rally.
