DIPHU, Dec 26: The Akhil Assam Bhojpuri Yuva-Chhatra Parishad (AABYCP) took a significant step in strengthening its organisational base with the formation of the Golaghat Town Committee on Thursday.
A robust 15-member committee was established during a meeting attended by key leaders and members at Bhojpuri Vivah Bhavan in Golaghat.
Ravi Kalwar from Golaghat Town was appointed as the president, while Karmveer Thakur assumed the role of general secretary.
The meeting witnessed the presence of dignitaries, including the Central Committee general secretary, Arjun Mahato, and organisational secretary, Sunil Gupta, district advisors Ganesh Gupta and Bhagirath Jaiswal, along with district vice-president Guddu Prasad Verma and member Sanjeev Prajapati, were also present to support the newly formed committee.
The event was attended by district committee members Saroj Kumar Gupta, Brijmani Pandey, and other notable figures from Golaghat, marking a significant move to bolster the representation and activities of the Bhojpuri Yuva-Chhatra Parishad in the region.
