MORIGAON, Aug 8: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) organised a 10-hour ‘annasan’ demonstration as a mark of protest against the escalating costs of vital goods.

The event took place at the Swahid Bhawan premises in Morigaon. Utpal Sarma, the interim state president of AASU, led the ‘annasan’ initiative, condemning the ruling BJP government for its inability to curb the surging prices of essential commodities.
