The exams are scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 3, and HS final examinations from February 13 to March 17.

In a press statement, the ABSU acknowledged the dedication and hard work that students have invested in their studies throughout the academic year.

“As these crucial examinations approach, we encourage all students to remain focused, confident, and diligent in their preparation. We also extend our gratitude to the educators, parents, and guardians who have provided unwavering support to the students throughout their academic journey. Your guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping their futures. ABSU remains committed to fostering educational excellence and will continue to support initiatives that promote the academic and personal development of students across Assam,” ABSU stated.

The ABSU appealed to the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) to conduct the forthcoming HSLC and HS final examinations with utmost integrity, ensuring a free, fair, and transparent process.

“We urge ASSEB to implement comprehensive security protocols, including strict supervision, secure handling of examination materials, and prompt redressal of mechanisms for any grievances that may arise. Such measures are essential to maintain the credibility of the examination process, safeguard the future of our students, and prevent any discouragement that may lead to increase dropout rates. The ABSU has consistently raised concerns regarding school dropouts, and as we strive to build a literate and educated society, it is essential to conduct the examinations with the highest level of care and professionalism, for the constructive advancement and progress of our state and the nation,” ABSU further stated.
