MARGHERITA, March 22: Sanjay Kumar Deb, secretary of the Asom Jatiya Parishad Central Committee and coordinator of the 13th Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency, has slammed the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party supremo and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday.
Sanjay Kumar Deb stated that the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal ahead of the Lok Sabha elections was dangerous and unfortunate for the largest democratic country, India.

He further mentioned that the Prime Minister is misusing his post and has coerced Opposition leaders into joining the BJP by threatening them with ED, CBI, income tax, and all government machinery.
Sanjay Kumar Deb added that many Opposition political parties’ bank accounts have been frozen by the BJP so that they cannot contest in this Lok Sabha election. However, the Prime Minister must understand that suppression policies do not last long in democracy, where the electorate holds the power. He emphasised that in this Lok Sabha election, the Bharatiya Janata Party shall receive a fitting response in the EVM machines.
