Guwahati, April 18: After successfully hosting two matches during IPL 2023, Guwahati is ready to welcome back the Indian Premier League (IPL) action in May. Rajasthan Royals will play two home games at the ACA Stadium against Punjab Kings on May 15 and Kolkata Knight Riders on May 19.
The franchise announced that tickets for the first home match in Guwahati against Punjab Kings are now available on BookMyShow. Early Access registrants can purchase tickets from 4pm on Thursday April 18, 2024 to 4pm on Friday April 19, 2024. Tickets for the general public will be available after 4pm on Friday 19 April 2024.
The franchise will also launch ₹500 tickets for students, available at the Box Office at a later date. Fans who purchase tickets to the Punjab Kings match will get first access to purchase tickets for Royals’ match against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 19.
Ranjit Barthakur, Chairperson, Rajasthan Royals, expressed gratitude to the people of Assam for welcoming the team and spoke about the positive impact of IPL’s return to the Northeast. Riyan Parag, Royals’ all-rounder and second-highest IPL run-scorer this season, expressed his excitement about the team’s return to Guwahati.
