GUWAHATI, Aug 18: The State president of Bharatiya Janata Party Assam Pradesh, Bhabesh Kalita, wished the state and the country a very happy 75th Independence Day. In a press release transmitted to the media from the state office of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Kalita said that in the light of the 75th Independence Day, the whole country is celebrating the campaign, “Har Ghar Tiranga”, introduced by Narendra Modi along with “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. He also mentioned that it was due to the thousands of freedom fighters that India achieved its freedom.
“For those freedom fighters, we will follow the path they have shown us and work towards the betterment of the society,” Kalita said.
Bhabesh Kalita further urged the new generation to be inspired from the freedom fighters’ courage on this auspicious occasion of the Independence Day.
