Assam: Unidentified Patient Admitted At Diphu Medical College & Hospital

DIPHU, Sept 10: One Raju Tati (40 years) was brought and admitted to the Diphu Medical College & Hospital on Friday by officials from the Lumding Police Station, Hojai district for necessary treatment.

But the patient passed away during treatment on Saturday morning. The officials from the DMC&H said that there is no attendant or relative of the patient and his proper identity is not known to the hospital administration. Subsequently, a U/D case has been registered at Diphu Police Station. After completing necessary formalities, the body will be kept at the DMC&H Morgue for a period of 72 hours for preservation and identification. His photograph is being circulated for wide publication for identification, the police stated.
