Bora, while speaking at the AGP Jorhat Lok Sabha constituency workers’ meet at the Shri Shri Pitambar Devagoswami Auditorium of the Jorhat District  Library, said that the party which has always worked for interest of general people has been able to find a special place in their hearts, the party members should reach out to the people with a renewed fervour
and further strengthened the organisational base.

Stating that he was overwhelmed to see enthusiasm of the party workers today,  the AGP President urged them to gear up fully for the elections in the coming years.
Bora, took the opportunity to flay the Congress party for carrying out “false and disinformation campaign” against the BJP-led coalition Government headed by Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Alleging that the Congress party becoming wary of the unprecedented development and progress the State was witnessing under stewardship of Sarma, had resorted to spreading false information about the Government to tarnish its (Government) image. He asked them (Party workers) to tell the people the truth and defeat the Congress party in  their plan of spreading disinformation about Government.

In the meeting attended by workers of 10 Assembly seats under the Jorhat Lok Sabha constituency, the AGP top brass was in full attendance.  Executive president Keshab Mahanta, who is the health and family welfare minister, Rajya Sabha MP and a party General Secretary Birendra Prasad Baishya, senior leader and a MLA Phani Bhushan Choudhury and several party legislators were among those were present on the occasion.
