Atul Bora launches school building construction under PM-devINE scheme

GUWAHATI, March 13: Atul Bora, the minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, inaugurated the commencement of construction for new school buildings at Ganesh Mandir HS School, Gopal Boro HS School, and Arya Vidyapeeth HS School. These projects, funded at Rs 6.05 cr, Rs 9.77 cr, and Rs 8.87 cr respectively, are part of the PM-devINE scheme. Additional foundation stones for several other school buildings were also laid during a ceremony at Gopal Boro HS School.

Expressing confidence in the transformative impact of these infrastructures, minister Bora emphasised their pivotal role in fostering educational excellence and nurturing quality human resources. He urged the responsible officials to ensure timely completion of the construction projects.

Ramendra Narayan Kalita, MLA of West Guwahati Constituency, attended the Arya Vidyapeeth HS School program, while Sumit Sattawan, DC of Kamrup (M) district, graced the functions at Ganesh Mandir HS School and Arya Vidyapeeth HS School. Dhiraj Das, CEO of Kamrup (M) District Zila Parishad, Deepika Chowdhury, Inspector of Schools, along with administrative officers, principals, members of School Management Committees, teachers, and students were also present across all these events.
