BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 30: Assam Rifles organised an awareness lecture on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan for students of Balipara Higher Secondary School at Balipara of Sonitpur district on Tuesday, stated in a press release.
With a focused agenda aimed at addressing the pressing issue of substance abuse, the programme encompassed various informative sessions, interactive discussions, and engaging activities. Participants were sensitized to the detrimental effects of drug addiction on individuals, families and society at large.

The programme underscored the significance of preventive measures, early intervention and community support in fostering a culture of sobriety and well-being. A total of 210 students and 5 teachers attended the subject programme with full zeal and enthusiasm.
