Bankers meet for micro food processing enterprise at Hojai

NAGAON, April 12: A bankers meet was organised by Hojai Unnayan Mancha (HUM), a local NGO under sponsorship of Assam Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) and District Industries and Commerce Centre (DICC),Hojai about the scheme of Prime Minister Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprise(PMFME) on Friday last here.

The LDM and all bank branch managers were present in the meeting. Sujay Kr Dutta, secretary of HUM welcomed all the bankers and raised the issues of the beneficiaries of PMFME and appeal them to help for setting up of own micro entreprenurship.

The district resource person (DRP) Aniruddha Sahu highlighted the details about sanctioned data. The LDM Mausham Bora suggested all to select beneficiaries for those who have activity with market linkage and bank transaction and have capacity to deposit 5 percent margin money.

The secretary of HUM wished all for Rongali Bihu and given importance on selection of genuine beneficiaries and also ensured of providing training from Food Craft Institute with proper branding and packaging of the processed food product, stated in a press note here.
