The exact cause of the boat capsizing remains unknown at this time. This incident comes after a dramatic occurrence in August, where around 32 passengers narrowly escaped an accident on a ferry boat in Dibang River, Sadia, Tinsukia district. That boat capsized after striking an underwater wooden structure, causing it to sink near Amarpur Ghat, observed by individuals on the river bank.
