Book Fair to be held at Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR, Dec 2: The 4 th  Bokota Khamun Book Fair will take place in Sivasagar from December 15 to
17.
The three-day literary event organized jointly by the Bokota Study Circle, Bokota Senior Citizens’ Forum,
and Bidyakunj Jatiya Vidyalaya, will be inaugurated by Asim Chutiya.
The event will also feature various educational and cultural programmes along with the books on display
at different stalls. It will feature a science project exhibition, which will be inaugurated by Divyajyoti
Gogoi, inspector of schools of the Sivasagar circle. A quiz competition will also be organized by the
weekly newspaper  ‘Rangpur Barta’, Nature’s  Bacon, and Ellora Vigyan Mancha.
Meanwhile, Lakhi Saikia and Pranjal Bezbaruah will deliver a talk on ‘Children’s Innovative Skill
Acquisition’ on the occasion. The open session will be attended by Sivasagar district commissioner A V
Yadav, district child protection officer Vikash Ranjan Konwar, anaesthologist of the Demow Model
Hospital, Surajit Giri, principal of Betbari HS School, Jayanta Madhov Gogoi, writer Munmi Hazarika and
faculty member of the Women University, Jorhat Durlov Sensuwa.
