CEM’s constituency visit programme continues in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, MAY 13: The chief executive member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region has continued his constituency visit to take stock about the construction of government’s schemes and development activities in Bodoland Territorial Region.

On Saturday, CEM (BTR) and UPPL president, Pramod Boro visited at No.8 Dotma (ST constituency) in Kokrajhar.

Boro was accompanied by Assam cabinet minister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Kokrajhar East LAC MLA, Lawrence Islary, senior government officials of BTR government.

As part of the CEM’s visit, Boro paid homage to Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma at his Samadhistall Thulunggapuri Dotma besides planted saplings along the Thulunggapuri Dotma to make healthy beautification and green environment.

Boro visited at the Dotma Girl’s High School where he inspected and mey school authorities and students.

He visited the Goybari Brahma Dharma mandir where local people of the village offered warm welcome and felicitation to CEM Boro.

He visited the construction site of JJM at Ramoni Ashram and urged the concern authority to make proper completion of the JJM scheme to facilitate drinking water.

Boro made a maiden visit at Serfanguri model hospital and met hospital authority and staffs of the hospital.

He also inspected construction of PMAY house at Sapkata village near Patgaon and beneficiaries of PMAY scheme.

A public hearing on the development welfare schemes of government was also held at the auditorium hall of Janata College, Serfanguri where government officials representing different departments of BTC government were also present.

CEM Boro said that the BTR government is committed to work for all round development of the society and subsequently initiated several programmes and activities across the region.

He has said that the BTR government has prioritised good governance by empowering grassroot governance & entrepreneurship. Government’s efforts will always be towards sustainable & inclusive development.

He said that on Saturday he visited Dotma constituency to take stock of the development and welfare activities being carried out by the BTR government.

Present at the meeting were Assam cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, MLAi Lawrence Islary BTR EMs Arup Kumar Dey, Wilson Hasda & MCLA Rajib Brahma.
