Khuito Sema, the father of the missing Sema Naga youth, Mokata Sema, stated that his son and two other youths from the same village went to Bangalore for a job on January 12. Unfortunately, on January 14, he received a call from his friends informing him that Mokato had gone missing from the train compartment at Vijayawada Railway Station in Andhra Pradesh. To date, there has been no information about his son, Mokato Sema, despite lodging a missing report at Lekhapani Police Station.

Kahoto Sema, chairman of the All Assam Sema Naga Council, expressed concern over the unfortunate situation, noting that many youths from Longtong village in the Tirap region, within the 83rd Margherita constituency of Tinsukia district, have gone missing over the years. These disappearances are suspected cases of human trafficking, as there have been several reports of youths falling into the trap of human trafficking gangs.

Kahoto Sema appealed to the state government and Assam Police DGP GP Singh to trace the missing youth, Mokato Sema, and other youths from Longtong village who have been missing for many years.
