MORIGAON, Jan 2: Morigaon District Commissioner Anamika Tewari formally distributed tablets to students of Class IX under the Arohan scheme and to 142 Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators (CRCCs) at the Inspector of Schools’ premises on Friday. The initiative aims to strengthen digital learning and academic support across schools in the district.
During the programme, the CRCCs Juba Sarma, Raju Medhi, Nahrin Sultana and Marami Saikia received the tablets from the District Commissioner on behalf of the coordinators. The distribution marks a significant step towards enhancing the use of technology in school education and academic monitoring.
Besides the CRCCs, tablets under the Arohan scheme were also presented to selected students for their academic excellence. The recipients included Jyotishmoi Bardoloi of Morigaon Higher Secondary and Multipurpose School, Rishnu Kunal Hokai Bordoloi of Morigaon Town Higher Secondary School, Parthana Bora of Morigaon Girls Higher Secondary School and Rimpi Das of Morigaon Shankar-Madhav Secondary School.
Officials present at the event highlighted that the scheme is intended to support students and educators by providing access to digital resources, thereby improving learning outcomes in government schools across the district.
