GUWAHATI, Nov 13: As by-elections unfold across Assam’s five constituencies, including the 11-Dholai (SC) constituency of Cachar district, the district election officer (DEO) of Cachar, Mridul Yadav, spearheaded a comprehensive review to ensure an organised and secure voting process. In a hands-on approach, DEO Yadav visited various polling stations across the constituency on Wednesday, assessing security protocols and the operational setup at each location to uphold a peaceful and seamless election day.

“Ensuring a smooth and safe voting process is our utmost priority,” DEO Yadav stated, adding that extensive coordination between the administration and security personnel would maintain public trust and support transparent election conduct.

The proactive efforts of Cachar’s Election Office reflect a steadfast commitment to fostering a reliable and voter-friendly environment, encouraging high voter turnout and promoting democratic values within the Dholai constituency. This initiative reinforces the administration’s dedication to a fair electoral process, further bolstering public confidence in the system.
