MORIGAON, March 16: The director of women & child development, Assam Bivash Modi on Thursday visited the training centres running under five ICDS projects like Moirabari, Laharighat, Bhurbandha, Kapili and Mayong in the district.

Modi along with the deputy director Kunjalata Lason, DSWO and CDPOs met the AWWs at the training centres and interacted with them regarding progress of the 6 months long certificate course on ‘Early Child Care and Education for Anganwadi Workers (10+2 and above) as per NEP-2020’.
The 6 months long certificate course was formally inaugurated on February 2 in the Guwahati. In the district the 6 months long training course has been running since March 1 at five ICDS projects in the district. The training course has included the AWWs who have passed H.S.
