Drug bust in Karbi Anglong

BOKAJAN, May 19: In a significant development, police in Karbi Anglong seized a large quantity of marijuana on Saturday evening. Acting on information, authorities conducted a search of a container truck bearing registration number WB 76 B 2883, traveling from Dimapur on NH 39 under Khatkhati Police Station.

During the search, police discovered 75 tightly packed packets filled with marijuana, weighing a total of 790 kg, with an estimated market value of Rs 4 crore.
