MARGHERITA, Dec 8: Margherita and Digboi excise party, under the supervision of Prasanta Dutta DSE Margherita conducted a joint excise search, patrolling and raid on Wednesday night.
The raid was conducted at the company room of Rajendra Tanti, a daily wage worker of Segunbari Tea Factory situated at Makumqilla (office line) of Segunbari Tea Factory, under Margherita police station of Tinsukia district where one case was detected.
IMFL 2.34 BL, beer 5.20 BL (for sale in Assam only) were seized during the raid.
Meanwhile, Rajendra Tanti is absconding after the raid till the filing of this report.
