Four rowers to represent India in World Dragon Boat Rowing Championships

SIVASAGAR, July 14:
 Tara Panging, Janmoni Mili, Bindia Panging, and Simpy Mili have been selected to represent India in the upcoming World Dragon Boat Rowing Championships. The prestigious event will take place in Pattaya, Thailand, starting from August 8. On Thursday, the young rowers were honoured by the Desangmukh Sports Association in the presence of esteemed sports organisers from Sivasagar.

The felicitation ceremony, organised by the Desangmukh Sports Association, was attended by prominent individuals in the sports community of Sivasagar. Monorangan Taye, the secretary of the Desangmukh Sports Association, hosted the event, which saw the presence of Manoj Bhagawati, Dr Simanta Barua, Bidya Patiri, Suraj Kumar Patiri, Manoj Kumar Gogoi, Rajani Panging, Munna Agarwal, Sachindra Mili, Birup Arandhara, and Arjun Guwala, among others.
