DIPHU, March 31: Samagra Siksha Abhijan (SSA) under Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) distributed free textbooks including early academic calendar, evaluation and practice books to students of elementary and secondary level from Class – I up to Class –X in a district level ceremonial distribution of free textbooks (FTB) for the academic session 2023-24 held at Lower Dillaji LP school here on Friday.
Executive member (EM), KAAC, Education Richard Tokbi distributed the textbooks to students.

The EM said, “The distribution of free textbooks is part of a government initiative to help students of BPL families in their studies so that they also get the same opportunity like other privileged children.” He also said that not only textbooks but mid-day meals and uniforms are provided to them by the government.
The EM asked the students present to work hard in their studies so that they can bring smiles to their parents and the reputation of the school.
