Himanta Biswa Sarma greets Prez on her birthday

GUWAHATI, June 20: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday wished President Droupadi Murmu on her 67th birthday.

‘Heartiest wishes to Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji on her birthday’, the Chief Minister posted on ‘X’.

‘Rising from humble origins, her life is a lesson in courage, dedication and humility. She is a beacon of inspiration for millions of people who dare to dream’, he said.

Sarma said that her guidance has been invaluable in charting the trajectory of a new Assam.

‘I pray to Maa Kamakhya and Srimanta Sankardev to bless her with good health and a long life in the service of Maa Bharti’, he said. (PTI)
