GUWAHATI, July 19: Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday chaired a consultation meeting with various service associations at the Assam Administrative Staff College to discuss the upcoming Mukhya Mantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana.

The meeting focused on important aspects such as the medical bill reimbursement process and the creation of an online portal for registration.

During the meeting, it was announced that an online portal has been developed for the registration of healthcare bill reimbursement for government employees, pensioners, and their dependents. This portal will allow beneficiaries to conveniently upload necessary documents for reimbursement. Assistance for medical bill reimbursement will also be provided at district hospitals, medical colleges, and the office of the joint director of Health Services.

Chief minister Sarma expressed the government’s commitment to providing a healthcare scheme that meets the genuine needs of its employees.
