KAAC Top Officials Takes Charge At Hamren Branch Office

Diphu, Aug 31: The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) authority has transferred three high ranking officials to its branch secretariat in Hamren, West Karbi Anglong from Diphu. The order was given on August 30.

The officials are joint secretary Michael Timung, deputy secretary Tarun Engti and under secretary Sar-im Ronghang.

According to sources, joint secretary, Michael Timung will be responsible for the overall functioning of the branch secretariat along with taxation, education, public works, border matters etc.

While deputy secretary, Engti will look after the land revenue department, under secretary, Ronghang has been given charge of the executive officer of the Hamren Municipal Board and will assist the joint secretary and deputy secretary.
