GUWAHATI, Dec 17: The Kamrup district unit of the All Assam Poets’ Conference held its first executive meeting at Yuva Vikas Kendra, chaired by Jagannath Kalita. Achyut Kalita outlined the meeting’s objectives and various proposals were discussed by office bearers.
The meeting began with a devotional song by Sabita Devi Barua. Attendees included Organising Secretary Mrinal Bora, vice presidents Bhavesh Deka and Dr Shewali Das Kalita, Advisors Anil Goswami, Manik Dutta, Pomi Goswami and Runumi Talukdar, Treasurer Shukleswar Mali and other district and branch representatives.
