Kanki Belguri Cooperative Society holds annual general meeting

DIPHU, Sept 7: The annual general meeting of Kanki Belguri Greater Multipurpose Cooperative Society for the year 2024-25 was held on Sunday at the permanent office of the cooperative society in Kanki Inti village under Howraghat Assembly constituency of Karbi Anglong district.

The meeting was attended by executive members, office bearers, and hundreds of shareholders from Belguri, South Dighlipar, Garkhia Pokhuri, Miribali Inti village, Terang village, Kanki Inti village, Durgapur, Chamguri, and other nearby villages.

The meeting was presided over by the President of the cooperative society, Samsing Teron.

Lionel Teron was present as the government observer.

Secretary Kamala Medhi read out the annual report and announced that one kg each of masoor dal, sugar, and salt will be distributed by the cooperative society at the October meeting.

The annual accounts of the cooperative society were presented, and the budget for the coming year 2025-26 was prepared.

Pavithra Patar and Biren Inti were appointed as internal auditors for the cooperative society.

Among those who attended the meeting were Tiken Bora, Dhanen Brahma, Hukuram Kathar, Khargeshwar Basumatary, and others.
