The five-day international cultural festival was organised by Akhil Bhartiya Shankruti Shan (ABSS) Global Council of Art & Culture, the official partner of UNESCO, to bring together artists and performers from across the world.
The event served as a platform for various ethnic communities of India to present their traditional art forms and promote cultural diversity.
The KTMCRI troupe performed a medley of traditional Karbi dances on October 27 before a large audience.
The presentation featured Ritnong Chingdi (cultivating dance), Han Up Ahi Kebi (community bamboo shoot collection dance), Lengpum Sokchon (paddy pounding dance), and Hacha Kekan (post-harvesting dance), vividly depicting the agrarian lifestyle and everyday life of the Karbi people.
