KEA celebrates 43rd foundation day

BAKALIA, March 29: The 43rd foundation day of Karbi Employees Association (KEA) was celebrated here on Tuesday.

The celebration started with the hoisting of the KEA flag by its president of Bakalia unit, Dhonsing Hanse, which was followed by the planting of tree saplings. KEA invited the newly elected general secretary of Karbi Lammet Amei (KLA), Joysing Tokbi as the chief guest.

The KEA members felicitated Tokbi for being elected the new general secretary of KLA with Karbi traditional turban, bag and jacket. Jirpo NGO of Bakulia also felicitated Tokbi.

General secretary, KEA, Dilip Rongpi, vice-president, KLA, Kamsing Hanse, imminent writer Khoyasing Hanse, secretary of KLA, Bakalia unit, Sanjay Tokbi and others participated in the celebration.
