Margherita Public higher secondary school achieves 100 % in Science

MARGHERITA, June 6: Margherita Public Higher Secondary School has achieved 100 % success rate in HS results in science stream declared on Tuesday.

Like previous years, this year as well the school has achieved 100% success rate in science stream.

Over the last seven years, the science wing of the school has been able to maintain this continuity said Lakhyadhar Sonowal senior teacher of Margherita public higher secondary school.

Out of the total 23 students who appeared in the examination from the science stream 10 secured first division,12 secured second division and 1 student got third division.

In the science stream Prantik Sharma got star marks while Daisy Sonowal got distinction marks in arts stream.

The 100% success rate in the science stream has created a festive atmosphere in the school campus where students, teachers and all the staffs were singing and dancing in cheerful mood.

While in the arts stream of Margherita public higher secondary school 95.05% of the students passed and 1 got distinction and three managed to get star marks.

Talking about this success of the students, the principal of the school Gayatri Choudhary said that this has been possible due to the hard work of the teachers as well as the students and the students of science stream have made her proud by securing 100 % success rate in the last 7 years.

Again students of commerce Stream of Margherita College fared well in the exam where 34 students got first division marks.

Palash Chetia a student of Arts stream from Ledo Junior college got 460 marks and distinction and letter marks in all the 6 subjects bringing laurel to Ledo region.
