Meritorious students felicitated

DEMOW, July 9: Under the patronage of All Tea Tribes Students Association (ATTSA), Demow Branch in Association with ATTWA, Demow Regional and Sub-branches a felicitation programme was organised in the auditorium of Demow College on Sunday where the Tea Tribes Students who secured first division in the HSLC and HS Final Examination 2023 were felicitated. Bichitra Tanti, president of ATTSA, Demow Branch presided over the meeting and Biswanath Nag, secretary of ATTSA, Demow Branch anchored in the felicitation programme. Aditya Vickram Yadav, deputy commissioner of Sivasagar was present in the felicitation programme. Aditya Vickram Yadav, deputy commissioner of Sivasagar gave his valuable speech in the felicitation programme.

The meritorious students were felicitated with a phulam gamosa, a certificate and a sapling. A total of 91 tea tribes students were felicitated in the programme. In the felicitation programme Diganta Sahu Tasa, vice-president of ATTSA, central committee, Rajkishore Bhumij ATTSA, district leader, local organisation leaders of Demow, Demow Press Club members, District ATTSA leaders, ATTWA leaders along with other dignitaries were also present.
