BOKAJAN, Jan 11: A man was killed on Tuesday evening around 7 pm when a head-on collision took place between a car and a bike at Langchething on NH 39 under Borpothar police station.

The police took the severely injured biker to Bokajan Community Health Centre but he was declared dead on arrival by the doctor. The deceased has been identified as Manik Terang (43), a resident of Balipathar Borlai Hanse village under Bokajan police station. The police took both the bike and the car into custody, and further investigation is underway.
