GUWAHATI, Oct 17: In a significant achievement for public safety, the Morigaon Police successfully recovered 30 stolen mobile phones in the month of September and handed them over to their rightful owners, the police officials informed on Thursday.
As of the end of September, the police have recovered a total of 120 mobile phones this year, returning them to their legitimate holders.
Taking to the micro-blogging site X, the Morigaon Police stated, “Morigaon Police recovered 30 nos stolen mobile phones in the month Sept.24. A total nos of 120 mobile phones have been recovered till Sept. and handed over to its rightful owner.”
The Morigaon Police further highlighted the department’s commitment to swift action and its dedication to public safety in an effort to address theft-related crimes in the district.
“Our commitment to swift action and public safety remains unwavering”, the Morigaon Police added.
