NAGAON, May 10: 8 Assam Battalion, NCC, Tezpur Group organised a ten days long combined annual training camp at Dhing based Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya here on Tuesday last. Over 600 NCC cadets from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh participated in the training camp.
Lt Col Sukhadev Singh, SM Camp commandant, informed that the training of cadets will improve the personality of cadets and make them responsible citizens in the days to come. During the training camp, cadets will be trained on firing, advancement of leadership qualities, national integration, motivation by prominent personalities.
Besides, debate, awareness campaign on India’s G20 presidency, celebration of international year of millets will also be conducted during the camp. Disaster management authority, traffic police as well as health department will carry out various demonstrations too for life changing experience for the cadets, commandant Singh added further.
